I'm Jefferson Vance, a San Diego designer who builds brand identities from the ground up: logo, typography, color, graphics and the guidelines that keep it all consistent. I also shoot the photography and build the websites, so the brand holds together everywhere it shows up.
Brand identity for small businesses, product brands and founders who need one system that works on a bag, a sign, a website and an ad.
Logo and identity
A primary mark, variations for small sizes and dark backgrounds, and the rules for when to use each. Built to survive embroidery, screen printing and a favicon.
Typography and color
A type system and palette that stay readable on a label, a menu and a phone screen, with codes your printer and developer can use directly.
Brand graphics and assets
Patterns, icons, label layouts and social templates that let you produce new posts and packaging without calling a designer every time.
Brand guidelines
A plain document covering logo usage, colors, type and spacing, so anyone working on your brand gets it right the first time.
A brand that ships as a real website
An identity is only as good as the places it lands. I build the site too, so the logo, type and colors you approve are the same ones live on your pages, not a developer interpretation of a PDF.
A short conversation about your business, who buys from you, and where the brand needs to show up.

Work
Case study: White Rabbit Coffee
A coffee brand built from the ground up
White Rabbit Coffee was a San Diego specialty coffee brand I co-founded. I led its creative direction, including logo and typography, brand graphics, merchandise concepts and marketing assets used across social platforms, events and local activations.
If you only ever put your name on one thing, a logo is enough. If you have packaging, a site, social media and signage, the type, color and graphic system matter as much as the mark, because that is what makes the brand look consistent.
02Do I get the source files?
Yes. You get the logo in the formats you need, including vector files for print and a version for web, plus the guidelines that explain how to use them.
03Can you apply the brand to my website?
Yes. I build custom coded websites, so I can take the identity straight through to the live site instead of handing it off.
04Do you design packaging and labels?
Packaging and label layouts can be part of a brand project. For White Rabbit Coffee, my portfolio covers the identity, brand graphics and merchandise concepts. Product photography and renders can be scoped alongside the design.
05How long does a brand project take?
It depends on scope and how quickly feedback comes back. The quote includes a timeline before anything starts.
