JDV Photography is me, Jefferson Davis Vance. I've been shooting for over two decades, and in that time I've covered a lot of ground. Weddings, special moments, product work, studio sessions in downtown LA, I've done it all and I genuinely enjoy every type of shoot for different reasons.
But if you want to know where my heart is, it's out in nature. Landscape photography is my passion. Just me, a camera, and the patience to wait for the light to do something worth capturing. That obsession with light and timing is what I bring to every other shoot too, whether I'm documenting your wedding day or making a product look its absolute best. Portraits and the study of light have always intrigue my passions and sharpened my skills. I believe my best work comes from shooting the subject out in location to get the most authentic shoot accomplished.
